MESSAGE FROM SLPSB:
All schools and facilities will be open Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  The decision to reopen schools is based on information gathered from the National Weather Service and the Office of Emergency Preparedness.


ALL ST. LANDRY PARISH SCHOOL BOARD SCHOOLS AND FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 
All St. Landry Parish schools and facilities will be closed Tuesday, September 14, due to the possibility of severe weather and flooding in the Acadiana area. Students will shift to remote learning. If students are able to connect virtually, they should log in to their teacher’s Google Classroom to access assignments. Continue to follow our district app, district Facebook page, local news outlets, and the district website for updates on the reopening of schools. 


A Message from SLPSB 
CORRECTION-Teachers will be assigning work in Google Classroom tomorrow.  Students do not log into Google Meet.  They can check Google Classroom for assigned work.

All St. Landry Parish schools and facilities will be open to students Tuesday, August 31, 2021, with the exception of Cankton Elementary, Eunice Junior High (follow pre-hurricane hybrid schedule), Port Barre Middle, Port Barre High School, and Washington Career and Technical Education Center. The above-mentioned schools will continue at-home learning for students. You will receive additional information from your school’s administrator.  
Students attending the St. Landry Parish Virtual Learning Academy will be contacted with additional information regarding coursework.  


All SLPSB schools and facilities will be closed Monday, August 30, due to the impending landfall of Hurricane Ida. Continue to follow our district app, district Facebook page, local news outlets, and the district website for updates on the reopening of schools next week.
