The Steve Carter Education Program provides $1,500 vouchers to families of eligible K-12 public school students per school year. These digital vouchers are used to purchase high-quality literacy and math tutoring.
Program Details:
👉Available to K-12 public school students who are below reading and mathematics proficiency.
👉In-person or virtual options are available.
👉Tutoring sessions must be held after school hours.
🛑 You must have your child’s school-issued Louisiana Student ID (LASID) number to complete the application. This is a 10-digit number assigned by schools to track student information.🛑

🎬🕺💃 MACA Movie & Dance Party Celebration! 🎉
Before heading off for break, our MACA family came together on Friday for a fun-filled movie and dance party to celebrate the amazing achievements of our students and school community. We proudly recognized being an A-rated school once again, ranking 7th in the state, and earning the honor of being one of only TWO National ESEA Distinguished Schools in Louisiana.
This celebration reflected the hard work, positive behavior, and strong school pride shown by our students and staff every day. We are incredibly proud of our MACA family and had a blast celebrating together! 💙✨

🖌️ Art students brought creativity to life with live drawing and painting while displaying their stunning pieces. 💃 Dance performances filled the stage with excitement, 🎶 choir members delivered beautiful vocals, and 📣 the spirit team kept the energy high and the crowd cheering.
📝 Creative writers captivated the audience with original, well-written works, 🎷 band students once again impressed with outstanding performances, 🎭 theater students entertained everyone with a comical and well-executed skit, and 👟 the step team brought strong rhythm and style with an outstanding routine.
✨ This celebration was a true display of MACA’s incredible talent and the perfect send-off before our holiday break! 🎁🎉
